The Marshall Foundation Welcomes New Members to its Board and Advisory Council
June 10, 2010 - Jane Cummings of Palm Beach recently joined the Board of Directors of the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation. Ms. Cummings' family came to Florida in the 1970's from Montreal, where she was involved with numerous charitable activities.
In announcing the appointment, Foundation president Nancy Marshall said, "A longtime philanthropist, Jane Cummings shares our passion for the environment, with special interests in children and the arts, but most of all she wants to be actively involved in the work we are doing here in Palm Beach County. She recently held a small reception to benefit the Marshall Foundation, and will be an outstanding addition to our Board."
The Marshall Foundation also recently added Palm Beach resident Bobbie Lindsay to its Advisory Council. Said Ms. Marshall, "Bobbie Lindsay has tremendous interest, experience, and knowledge of environmental issues, as well as being a dynamic person with great ideas. We are so delighted to have her join our Advisory Council!"
Ms. Lindsay is a principal with the commercial real estate firm, Sequoia Holdings LLC, and is a member of the Shore Protection Board. She has a BA in biology from Cornell University, where she specialized in ecology and systematics. |
